Flashed up on my TV and shamelessly watched the entire countdown (purely for content, duh). No worries, this isn’t going to be a feminist ranting.
Premiered originally on March 9, the E! show runs through – well obviously – the hottest women on the Web. Maybe I live in a hole, but I recognized maybe 25 percent of those listed.
Kudos to the ladies who made the jump from internet TV stars to Maxim hotties or vice versa [interpret sarcasm here]. The list included:
Lara Croft
Jennifer Nicole Lee
ForBiddeN Girl (Christine Dolce)
For the most part, the show left me feeling trapped between curiosity, entertainment and slightly disheartened all rolled into one. Goes to show that even via the Web, looks will take you places. No comfort for the mediocre – at least “Byte Me” is clever.
Interesting take from Dave Chung on E!’s attempt to attract men to tune-in.
